Congratulations on your new hosting account! Here's a checklist of essential tasks to get your website up and running.
1. Log In to cPanel
Your cPanel credentials were sent to the email address you registered with. To log in:
- Go to
yourdomain.com/cpanelor use the direct link from your welcome email - Enter your username and password
- You'll land on the cPanel dashboard
Can't find your welcome email? Check your spam folder. If it's not there, contact our support team.
2. Point Your Domain
If you registered a domain with Cynet, it's already pointed to your hosting. If you're using an external domain, update your nameservers to:
ns1.cynethost.comns2.cynethost.comns3.cynethost.comns4.cynethost.com
3. Install Your Website Platform
Use the 1-Click App Installer (Softaculous) in cPanel to install:
- WordPress — Most popular CMS for blogs and business sites
- Joomla — Feature-rich CMS for complex websites
- OpenCart — E-commerce platform for online stores
- And 400+ more applications
Quick WordPress Install
- Open cPanel → Softaculous Apps Installer
- Click WordPress → Install
- Choose your domain, set admin credentials
- Click Install — done in 60 seconds
4. Set Up Email Accounts
Create professional email addresses (e.g., [email protected]):
- Open cPanel → Email Accounts
- Click Create
- Enter the desired address and password
- Configure your email client or use webmail
5. Enable SSL Certificate
Free SSL is included with all plans. To activate:
- Open cPanel → SSL/TLS Status
- Click "Run AutoSSL"
- Wait a few minutes for the certificate to be issued
