Quick Answer

Method 1: Log in to manage.cynet.com.my → My Services → Web Hosting → Manage → Click cPanel Login. Method 2: Go to yourdomain.com/cpanel and enter your cPanel username and password from your welcome email.

cPanel is the control panel for managing your web hosting — files, emails, databases, domains, and more. There are two ways to log in to cPanel on your Cynet hosting account.

This is the easiest method as it does not require you to remember your cPanel username or password. The client area logs you in automatically.

Step 1: Log in to the Client Area

Go to manage.cynet.com.my and sign in with your Cynet account email and password.

Step 2: Navigate to Your Hosting

  1. Go to My ServicesWeb Hosting
  2. Click on the hosting plan you want to manage

Step 3: Open the Management Page

Click the Manage button next to your hosting plan. This opens the hosting management dashboard.

Step 4: Click cPanel Login

On the management page, look for the cPanel Login button (usually in the sidebar or quick actions area). Click it and you'll be logged into cPanel automatically — no username or password needed.

Tip: This method uses a one-time login token, so you don't need to know your cPanel credentials. It's the best option if you've forgotten your cPanel password.

Method 2: Log In Directly with Username and Password

Use this method if you have your cPanel credentials handy and want to go directly to cPanel without visiting the client area.

Step 1: Open the cPanel Login Page

Go to one of the following URLs in your browser:

Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.

Step 2: Enter Your Credentials

On the cPanel login screen:

  • Username: Your cPanel username (sent in your welcome email)
  • Password: Your cPanel password (sent in your welcome email)

Step 3: Click Log In

Click the Log In button. You'll be taken to the cPanel dashboard.

Where to Find Your cPanel Credentials

Your cPanel username and password were included in the Welcome Email sent when your hosting was activated. The subject line is usually:

"New Account Information" or "Your Hosting Account Has Been Created"
Check for:
  • cPanel Username: Usually a shortened version of your domain (e.g., cynetcom)
  • cPanel Password: A randomly generated password
  • Server / IP Address: The server your hosting is on
If you can't find the welcome email, check your spam/junk folder. Alternatively, use Method 1 to log in through the client area, or reset your cPanel password.

Accessing cPanel on Mobile

cPanel works on mobile browsers, though the interface is optimised for desktop. To log in from your phone:

  1. Use either method above from your mobile browser
  2. cPanel will load in a responsive or mobile-friendly view
  3. For the best experience, use landscape mode or a tablet

Keeping Your Account Secure

  • Use a strong password: Mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
  • Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): In cPanel → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
  • Don't share credentials: Use Method 1 if someone else needs temporary access — they can log in via the client area without seeing your cPanel password
  • Log out when done: Especially on shared or public computers

Troubleshooting

"Invalid Login" or wrong password

  • cPanel passwords are case-sensitive — type carefully
  • Copy-paste from your welcome email to avoid typos
  • Use Method 1 (client area) to bypass the password entirely
  • Reset your cPanel password if needed

cPanel login page not loading

  • Make sure your domain is pointed to Cynet nameservers (ns1.cynethost.com through ns4.cynethost.com)
  • Try using the server IP instead: https://SERVER-IP:2083 (find the IP in your welcome email)
  • Clear your browser cache or try an incognito window
  • Check if your IP has been blocked by the server firewall (too many failed login attempts) — contact Cynet support to unblock

"Too many failed login attempts"

The server firewall temporarily blocks your IP after several incorrect login attempts. Wait 15–30 minutes and try again, or contact Cynet support to have your IP unblocked immediately.

cPanel session keeps expiring

cPanel sessions expire after a period of inactivity (usually 15–20 minutes). This is a security feature. Simply log in again when prompted.
